The Knight's Oath

The woman in armor stood at the entrance to the castle, her eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger. She had traveled for days to get here, and she was determined to find out what secrets lay within. Her sword was drawn and ready, and she took a deep breath before taking her first step towards the gate. The sound of her boots echoed through the empty courtyard as she made her way towards the castle doors. She could feel the weight of the armor on her body, but she was used to it. It was a part of her, a symbol of her strength and determination. As she approached the gate, she raised her sword and struck it against the metal bars, making a loud, echoing sound that filled the air. She waited for a response, but there was none. The castle remained silent and still. The woman in armor took another deep breath and pushed open the gate, stepping into the castle courtyard. She was greeted by the sight of a beautiful, pristine castle, with towering walls and intricate details. But she knew that there was more to it than met the eye. She was determined to find out what secrets lay hidden within the castle walls.

The woman in armor pressed on, her heart pounding in her chest. She had always known that the castle held secrets, but she had never imagined anything like this. As she made her way through the dark corridors, she could feel the weight of the castle's history bearing down on her.

Suddenly, she heard a noise. It was faint at first, but it grew louder as she approached. She drew her sword and crept forward, her eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of danger.

That's when she saw it. A figure, looming in the darkness. It was tall, and its eyes glinted in the dim light. The woman in armor tensed, ready to strike.

But then the figure spoke. Its voice was low and gravelly, and it echoed through the halls of the castle.

"You shouldn't be here," it said. "This place holds secrets that are not meant for mortal ears."

The woman in armor hesitated. She knew that the figure was right. But she couldn't turn back now. She had come too far.

"I have to know," she said. "I have to understand what happened here."

The figure chuckled, and the sound sent shivers down her spine.

"You may regret that decision," it said. "But come. I will show you what you seek."

And with that, it disappeared into the shadows, leaving the woman in armor to follow.
